Empty Nest Experience is a normal developmental stage that adults go through when they launch their last child into the world – typically, when the last child goes off to college. Empty Nest is a familiar term, but there has been surprisingly very little research on the topic. At Palm Beach Atlantic University, we conducted a study and we are sharing our results and other research findings on this site. See the blog posts for my personal thoughts and what we learned from our research. I am writing a book based on our study, but we need your stories to fill in the gaps and so that we can share our experiences with one another.
